About
Our story and mission
We built The Members’ Clinic around a simple frustration: people needing help the most were the ones left to coordinate their own care.
Why we started
Too often, someone becomes unwell and the system starts them over: a new referral, a new stranger, a new queue, and no one looking at the whole person. A teenager struggles at home, and a parent quietly comes apart trying to hold down a job while they navigate it. What happens at home doesn’t stay at home, and what happens at work doesn’t either.
We’d spent years across the NHS and private care watching that gap swallow people. So we built something to close it: one team that stays with you from the first conversation to the right specialist and back again, so you never have to project-manage your own care.
What we believe
Difficulties rarely sit in one neat box. They come from the interplay of your body, your mind, your relationships, your work and your history, so that’s how we look at them: together, rather than one piece at a time.
In practice, that means more than one mind on what matters, and a team that talks to each other, not a network you’re passed between. And it means the people around you are part of the picture, because they usually are.
How we’re built
You’ll have someone who holds your care, with a whole team behind them: psychiatry, psychology, therapy, dietetics and more where it’s needed, drawing on our roots in both the NHS and private practice. Where a specialist is needed, we bring them in properly, so it still feels like one team walking with you.
We look at the biological threads others often miss, such as sleep, hormones, nutrition, and how your body responds to medication, alongside the psychological and the social. Not to promise a particular result, but to give real rigour to finding what actually helps.
Our promise
You don’t have to hold this on your own. One team stays with you, the whole way through. That’s the whole point of us.
