Young people

Children & young people

When a young person is struggling, the whole family feels it. We work with all of you, as one team.

Keeping everyone on the same page is the work

With children and teenagers, fragmented care is the real risk: a young person can tell one story to a therapist and another at home, with parents left out of the loop. We work as one team with the family, together where it helps, separately where it’s needed, always with the whole picture in mind.

Where a young person’s difficulties are developmental, in attention, learning, or how they experience the world, we bring the right specialists around them, rather than sending you off to start again elsewhere.

What to expect

How it works

01

A first conversation

We start by understanding what’s happening, for the young person and for you.

02

A shared understanding

Assessment that involves the family, so everyone is working from the same picture.

03

One coordinated plan

School, home and clinic aligned, with the right people around your child.

04

Support that stays

We remain involved as your child grows and their needs change.

This may be for your family if

  • Your child or teenager is struggling and you’re not sure where to turn
  • You’ve felt left out of the loop by previous services
  • School pressure, anxiety or low mood is affecting home life
  • You suspect a developmental difference and want a considered view

Common questions

Yes. Keeping the family on the same page is central to how we work: together where it helps, and separately where it’s needed.
